Have anyone tried SETI@Home?

I have and do prefer the distributed.net project. Dnet makes client that are optimzed for the architectures you're running the clients on. Hence more power is used. When you use altivec for instance it's better to run dnetc than seti which is just plain C with optimisations flags turned of.
